Lionel joined CMR in 2021 as Head of Operations Engineering, overseeing CMR’s manufacturing and test engineering functions. Prior to joining CMR, Lionel managed the operations of manufacturing plants across UK and Europe, overseeing a range of activity at global manufacturers including Xaar, STMicroelectronics and Cambridge Display Technology – Sumitomo Chemical Group.

At Xaar, Lionel held several leadership roles including Head of Operations for Thin Film Products, during which he scaled production capabilities, developed and optimised new supply chains and manufacturing processes and drove innovation.

Lionel is passionate about delivering operational excellence and has a keen interest in managing operations within innovative and high value-added environments. He holds certifications in Lean Six Sigma and Strategic Management.
