About the Role
Reporting to the Commercial Manager - France. You will play an active role in supporting the country’s business growth by constantly scouting untapped market opportunities and consolidating the existing installed base within the area of responsibility. Ensuring that a market development strategy is created and executed once a potential opportunity is identified.

?Responsibilities
- Identifying new business opportunities within the area of responsibility and ensuring their successful progression throughout the entire sales funnel. Monitoring through Salesforce leads generation and progression, and projections, analysing potential issues/blockers, and implementing corrective action plans to be shared with the Country Commercial Manager in a timely manner.
- Responsible for the end-to-end success of demonstrations and roadshows in your region, scheduling and setting up the commercial systems, coordinating event teams and leading the customer demonstrations in-person.
- Partner with the Country Commercial Manager and other team members to contribute to the development of the country’s strategic direction for lead generation strategies, increase brand awareness, marketing initiatives, etc
- Support the adoption and implementation of key global and regional commercial initiatives and projects at country level as and when required.
- Organise and attend to the main congresses and marketing events within the territory and, when required, internationally.
- Ensure compliance with the global and regional guidelines, as well as local regulatory and administrative procedures/requirements.
- Delivering strategic objectives at a corporate level in a clear, concise and commercially focussed way
- Staying up to date with trends within the surgical robotic market, including changes in clinical practice and emerging market needs
- Leading market research activities through data review and/or direct interview
- Liaising with Marketing, Engineering and Research colleagues to share market insight
- Identifying and assisting in the evaluation of potential technology licensing/co-development/mergers and acquisition opportunities
We’d expect you to be willing to turn your hand to anything within the Commercial remit that helps the team deliver its objectives.
About you
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have/be:
- Proven success in healthcare capital equipment sales with a demonstrated track record of introducing new products into hospitals.
- Experience of conducting market research
- Experience of operating room environment.
- Enjoy a role that brings together marketing and sales to support the commercial growth through analytical tools provided (Salesforce, Netsuite)
- Experience in leveraging internal resources, such as clinical data/ training programs to be able to construct and communicate the right proposition to the decision-making unit and in relation to competitive offerings
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills to assess the profitability of different scenarios
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues and build strong long-term and productive relationships with key opinion leaders
- Inherently self-disciplined, as much of the role will be autonomous and require diligent and persistent follow-up
- A strong customer orientation and a passion for how technology can improve the surgical and clinical environment
- Good attention to detail and an ability to understand and build basic financial models
- Strong communication skills, building rapport quickly and communicating complex information concisely and clearly
- Comfortable in taking abstract information and relating it to commercial objectives
- Able to build consensus cross-functionally and within the community where there are varied and conflicting opinions and priorities
- Self-motivated and able to drive projects to conclusions, at times, with limited external direction.
- Work well under pressure and to short deadlines
- Full driver’s license
- Fluent in French (native equivalent) and have a good level of professional English language skills
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively across France (60%)
