About the Role

We are currently talent pooling for a Senior Commercial Executive in Brazil. Please apply if you are interested in being part of our talent pool.

Achieve your annual sales objectives by placing our robotic surgery system across your territory - and, just as importantly, by building a pipeline that is real: qualified, progressing, and honestly forecast. You will grow the country's business through disciplined scouting of untapped opportunities and by consolidating and expanding the existing installed base within your area of responsibility, delivering a remark-able customer experience at every step of a long, multi-stakeholder purchasing process. This is a capital-sales role that rewards method over motion. A large funnel is not the goal - deals that move through it are. Ultimately, you'll help make minimal access surgery available to everyone. Transforming surgery. For good.

Responsibilities

DRIVE GROWTH AND OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE

  • Win new business and sign customer agreements by scouting opportunities across your territory and, above all, progressing them stage by stage to close.
  • Own a clean, truthful sales funnel in Salesforce — accurate stages, credible close dates, complete stakeholder maps — surfacing blockers early and agreeing corrective action with the Head of Commercial *before* deals stall, not after.
  • Master and apply the **objection matrix**: anticipate, map, and systematically work through clinical, economic, and political objections, engaging detractors head-on rather than routing around them.
  • Deliver country business growth through disciplined execution of the sales strategy, building sustainable, value-based relationships across the entire decision-making unit.
  • Build and execute customer offerings, including pricing and tender management whenever re-quired.
  • Partner with the Head of Commercial and the wider team to shape the country's lead-generation strategy, increase brand awareness, and support marketing initiatives that feed a healthy top of funnel.
  • Support the adoption and implementation of key global and regional commercial initiatives and projects at country level as required.

DEVELOP THE MARKET

  • Analyse the market, clinical and industry trends, and competitors to size Versius commercial potential and detect untapped opportunities or threats early within your area of responsibility.
  • In line with commercial country guidelines and strategy, play a pivotal role in CMR business development — managing relationships with surgeons, hospital C-level, key opinion leaders, and any stakeholder who can advance the country's business, through visits, congress participation, and industry events.

About you

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have/be:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Executive in Healthcare / Medical Devices, with a demonstrated track record of selling high-value capital equipment — specifically, of moving complex, multi-stakeholder deals through a defined sales process to close.
  • Solid knowledge of hospital capital-buying processes, combined with the discipline to map every decision-maker and influencer — including those who oppose you — and experience negotiating prices and conditions across them.
  • Fluency with a stage-gated commercial methodology and the self-discipline to respect it — qualifying honestly and refusing to advance a deal that has not earned the next stage.
  • Command of the objection matrix — able to anticipate and resolve clinical, economic, and procedural objections, and to convert detractors rather than avoid them.
  • Skill in leveraging internal resources (clinical data, training programmes, etc.) to construct and communicate the right proposition to the decision-making unit and against competitive offerings.
  • Impeccable CRM discipline — you keep your own pipeline accurate and current, and you fore-cast only what you would personally bet on.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills to assess the profitability of different scenarios.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, to interact with clients and colleagues and build strong, long-term relationships with key opinion leaders.
  • Inherently self-disciplined and persistent — much of the role is autonomous and demands dili-gent, systematic follow-up across long sales cycles.
  • Availability to travel frequently throughout the territory, with the flexibility to attend medical conferences and events.

Your performance is measured not by the size of your funnel, but by what advances through it. You will run every opportunity through a disciplined, stage-gated methodology and keep it honestly re-flected in Salesforce at all times. You own your records. Stages reflect reality, close dates are dates you would personally bet on, and "on hold" is a decision with a reason and a return date — never a place for a deal to hide.

It would also be helpful if you have:

  • A robotics or minimal access surgery medical-device background.
  • Established relationships with surgeons and hospital C-level.
  • English
  • An MBA
