About the Role

As the Internal Training Lead in the Global Professional Education team, you will be primarily responsible for the managing the Internal Versius training programme, UniVersius, to customer-facing personnel and delivering the Fundamental training programme to both direct CMR employees and Channel Partners. The internal training curriculum will be delivered both as in-person face-to-face training sessions, and online as remote training.   You will be an integral part of the Global Professional Education team and will work with other team members in the design, development, and coordination of best-in-class internal training programmes. You will develop and be involved in Professional Education project work, alongside supporting other internal teams in collaborative projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, deliver and develop the UniVersius Internal Training Programme, delivering both online and in-person training sessions, certifying and recertifying individuals partaking in the Internal training programme.
  • Manage and Develop the Senior Professional Education Trainer for Internal Training.
  • Document all training and certifications in accordance with the Quality Management System, following the Quality Process for Professional Education Internal Training.
  • Be the main point of contact for enrolment of personnel, working with individuals to ensure all pre-learning content is made available, and expectations for the training course are clearly communicated.
  • Develop the internal training curriculum in collaboration with the Curriculum and Education Technology team, incorporating new technologies and indications.
  • Organise and book all training equipment, resources and technology required to deliver the internal training programme.
  • Lead and develop the certification and recertification process for Technical Skills Trainers and Clinical Sales Reps (direct CMR and Channel Partner), liaising with regions and Channel Partners to ensure in-field learning tasks are completed and recorded.
  • Support the Global Professional Education Team in the delivery of customer training where required, covering all aspects of the customer training pathway.
  • Support training delivery for formative and summative usability studies both in Cambridge and in the US.

We’d expect you to be willing to turn your hand to anything within the Professional Education remit that helps the team deliver its objectives.

About You

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have/be:

  • Previous education in training programs design and delivery
  • Previous experience working either as an industry representative or healthcare professional in an operating room environment.
  • Knowledge of surgical environment, terminology, common surgical procedures, ideally minimally invasive procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills including a clear and concise writing and presentation style, particularly when describing technical content.
  • Be strong team player, able to effectively operate as part of a cross-functional team, and successfully interact and build strong relationships with clinicians, engineers, medical professionals, and business partners and other opinion leaders.
  • Comfortable working with highly technical material, and strong ability to present the complex in clear, simple terms.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, work independently, and use MS Office applications
  • Fluent in English (or native language equivalent) and an additional European language(s) is desirable.
  • Experience of delivering training on surgical robotic platform.

A requirement to travel internationally as tasking dictates and be flexible in working hours to accommodate weekend training events.
