About the Role

This role is critical to driving commercial success and clinical adoption across distributor-led markets in Eastern Europe. Operating in a fully indirect model, you will work closely with distributors, surgeons, and internal teams to build capability, win tenders, and ensure strong activation and utilisation of installed systems. You will act as a bridge between clinical and commercial, enabling distributors to effectively position, sell, and implement the Versius programme. This is a highly hands-on, field-based role requiring strong influencing skills, clinical credibility, and commercial acumen, with a clear focus on delivering measurable impact.

Responsibilities

Tender & Commercial Support (Critical Focus)

  • Support distributors in preparation of tenders, specifications, and commercial proposals
  • Guide positioning of Versius vs competitors (clinical and economic differentiation)
  • Contribute to development of business cases and value propositions
  • Increase win-rate in competitive tender environments
  • Support distributors in aligning clinical positioning with commercial strategy and deal execution

Clinical Adoption & Utilisation

  • Support activation of new systems and development of clinical programmes
  • Work with surgeons and hospital teams to drive procedure adoption
  • Identify and address barriers to utilisation (training, workflow, engagement)
  • Intervene in underperforming sites to improve activity

Distributor Capability Building

  • Develop distributor capability across clinical, commercial, and tender execution
  • Support distributors in improving pipeline quality, structure, and conversion
  • Share best practices and support execution in key opportunities
  • Act as a trusted advisor and operational partner to distributor teams

New Install Activation (Key Markets)

  • Support launch of new systems in EE
  • Ensure strong start of clinical programmes and early utilisation
  • Coordinate early-stage activities (training, first cases, engagement)

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Service teams
  • Align internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery
  • Maintain visibility of activities and progress through CRM systems

Drive clinical data (registry) and digital (Apps) adoption to strengthen programmes and outcomes

Geographic Scope: Focus on selected core markets (e.g. Poland, Greece, Romania, Bulgaria), with flexible support across Eastern Europe based on business priorities.

This role is expected to directly impact both procedure growth and tender success across the region.

About you

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have/be:

  • Previous experience in MedTech (preferably surgical, robotics, or capital equipment)
  • Strong exposure to the operating room environment
  • Experience working with or through distributor-based markets
  • Experience supporting or participating in tender processes and specifications
  • Demonstrated ability to drive clinical adoption and support commercial success
  • Strong stakeholder management across clinical and commercial environments
  • Ability to influence without direct authority
  • Strong commercial and clinical judgement
  • Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset
  • Ability to operate in complex, fast-paced environments
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • High ownership and accountability
  • Fluency in English language both written and spoken

Additional Information

  • Field-based role with extensive travel across Eastern Europe
