The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted CMR Surgical marketing authorization for the Versius Surgical System (Versius) in cholecystectomy, paving the way for the next-generation versatile, adaptable, and digitally driven surgical robot to be introduced in the United States.

CMR Surgical has appointed Markus Bauman as Chief Legal & Business Affairs Officer and will join CMR’s executive leadership team. Michelle Paknad has been appointed as Senior Vice President, Global Business Development.

CMR Surgical appoint Daniel (Dan) Moore, a medical technology veteran, as as Non-Executive Chairman.
