Regional Vice President / Capital Sales Leader - USA, West Coast

We’re looking for an exceptional Regional Vice President / Capital Sales Leader who will be responsible for the sales of the VERSIUS PLUS system in their assigned region/territory.  This role is also responsible for leading a team of Area Sales Directors who will be responsible for selling the VERSIUS PLUS system in their designated region/territory. This includes overseeing and leading the identification of business opportunities, building and fostering client relationships and ensuring the effective sales of CMR’s products to meet/exceed sales forecasts and goals. This position reports directly the President and GM of the US. ?

Responsibilities

  • ?Keeping the organization's vision and values at the forefront of decision making and action.
  • ?Hiring and selection of Area Sales Directors; motivating, mentoring, developing, and retaining a diverse team of individuals who are technically able and who consistently execute the strategies of the business plan to deliver positive business results.
  • Fiscal budgetary responsibility.
  • Asset/inventory management.
  • Develop and ensure proper execution of area business plan which identifies opportunities within current customer base, and growth in assigned territory.
  • Help formulate sales strategies with direct reports to meet/exceed sales goals.
  • Initiate and evaluate corporate pricing agreements with customers to ensure competitive value of product line.
  • Develop and apply next-generation analytics, knowledge of the marketplace, clinical, and customer expertise.
  • Submit periodic reports detailing activities/sales volumes/training needs.
  • Partner with the Marketing team and help ensure the success of sales/marketing plan and sales objectives through sales efforts directed towards sales associates and customers.
  • ?Prospecting for new customers and driving lead follow-up with direct reports.
  • Positively positioning our products and services to existing and new clients in the region.
  • ?Develop and implement strategies to counter competitors.
  • Identify, establish and maintain productive working relationships with key decision makers, customers and their staff, administrative staff, etc.
  • ?Work with the Clinical Team and assist in training and educating customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products by giving presentations and demonstrations using appropriate formats and platforms (e.g., slides, manuals, etc.) to keep customers abreast of new and existing products.
  • Utilize internal platforms to ensure flawless execution of product delivery to clients and patients.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute local educational and sales events, with the support of other internal resources, intended to augment the business and help to deliver assigned sales goals.
  • Represent company at industry conferences and maximize potential by targeting specific customers to gain sales leads and pursue opportunities to promote the company’s product range.
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships within company to ensure maximum sales support and maintain a high level of customer service.
  • Recognize and understand competitive products, features, strengths in relation to the company’s products.
  • ?Provide high level of service with patient outcomes held in the highest regard.
  • ?Visit customers and patients in a clinical environment (hospitals, operating rooms, clinics, surgical centers).
  • Communicate with Clients afterhours and on weekends as needed.
  • Travel daily within region, nationwide/worldwide as needed

We’d expect you to be willing to turn your hand to anything within the Commercial remit that helps the team deliver its objectives.?

About you

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have/be:

  • Strong Business Acumen with a proven ability to manage and prioritise concurrent deliverables.
  • Consultative selling skills and proven ability to influence adoption of innovation.
  • ?A critical thinker with clear guiding principles and a desire to work in a fast-paced, agile team. 
  • Have a high level of interest and engagement in financial solutions and contract management for healthcare customers.
  • Experience in sales pipeline management, market intelligence, preparation of tailored quotations, tender documentation, financial solutions and contract negotiation.
  • Experience in defining and successfully executing Regional Business Plans, set commercial priorities, forecasting short-medium-long term sales.
  • ?Experience in leading Regional meetings and competence development of the members of the team.
  • A genuine desire to help and support team members so that we can all achieve their best.
  • ?Experience in leading a team to success in a healthcare setting.?

It would also be helpful if you have:

  • Life science degree preferred or equivalent clinical/medical degree or experience.
  • Experience of Minimally Invasive Surgery, Navigation and/or Robotics.
  • ?Demonstrated record/examples of interdependent partnering within a business environment.
  • Demonstrable success in engaging with a variety of healthcare stakeholders, C-Suite, and project management of long sales cycles.?Good understanding of the current financial landscape for soft-tissue robotics in the US.?
