Clinical Sales Specialist - Mexico

Working within the country team, you will support customers in the holistic implementation of robotic programs, acting as the primary point of contact from acquisition all the way through to ongoing account management, ensuring the delivery of a world-class experience.  Partner with customers and lead the definition of robotic program implementation strategies in your twin responsibilities of maximising customer satisfaction and Versius utilisation in your accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Be an expert in VERSIUS - the next generation of robotic assisted surgical system and provide a differentiated service to those working closely with the system
  • Work with distributors and their teams to provide ongoing advice and guidance to maximize the use of VERSIUS, enabling the best cost-benefit ratio in contracts.
  • Train and empower distributors to become Versius experts and offer a concierge service to those who work directly with the system.
  • Provide support and assist distributors in troubleshooting issues in the operating room for surgical teams trained to use VERSIUS.
  • Develop relationships with the main surgeons and KOLs in the region
  • Create and implement action plans and strategies for the sector's growth
  • Analyze and report numbers, actions, and progress
  • As a seasoned member of the team, you will be responsible for coaching, developing and mentoring new members of the team, including support with implementation planning at new sites and supporting development and presentation of service delivery reviews.
  • Be responsible for planning and overseeing the first clinical case series at new Versius installations in the in Mexico and northern Latin America. As well as working strongly to grow the region's accounts.
  • Take an active role in identifying the need for and creating new documentation/collateral to support the customer sales teams’ activities.

VERSIUS Concierge – Critical to delivering against our contracted Service Level Agreements with customers, you will support and maximum uptime of VERSIUS. To achieve this, you will build lasting, engaging relationships with VERSIUS steering groups, providing regular service delivery reviews, consulting on and deploying CAPA to improve related process' and to ensure efficient patient throughput and system utilisation in-line with contracted case volumes.

About you

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have/be:

  • Business Acumen- Ability to function within an executive business environment
  • Training Ability - demonstrated experience in customer and peer training, specifically related to advanced technology within a clinical environment. Strong ability to train the trainer
  • Interdependent Partnering - demonstrated record/examples of cooperating across functions
  • Inherently Self Disciplined - much of the role will be autonomous and require diligent and persistent follow up
  • Highly Organised - you will be responsible for a variety of key planning and coordinating activities including; maintaining and adhering to timelines for the installation & implementation project plan, arranging case observations, managing national coverage of Versius clinical cases alongside your peers
  • Availability to travel 60% of the time
  • Life science degree preferred or equivalent clinical/medical degree or experience would be beneficial
  • Evidenced experience in Operating Room process management or hospital staff education development/training
  • Experience in indirect market management and negotiations with third parties
  • Experience of Minimal Access Surgery, Navigation and/or Robotics advantageous

Fluency in Spanish (native speaker equivalent) is required as is an excellent professional knowledge of English. You will be based in Mexico, and willing to work out of a home office when not out in the field.
