Andre brings over 20 years of experience in senior leadership roles to CMR, from across the technology and pharmaceutical industries.

Prior to joining CMR, Andre served as CFO at Lumicks and Phagenesis, both private equity-backed organizations. Andre has also held a number of prominent positions at Pfizer, and spent 6 years in leadership roles at Illumina, a Nasdaq-listed company focused on DNA sequencing and array-based technologies. Throughout his career, Andre has developed extensive expertise in driving growth, enhancing operational excellence, and shaping financial strategies within both global corporations and dynamic, high-growth environments.

Andre is a Chartered Accountant accredited by the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) degree from the University of Johannesburg.
